Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes cut into wedges
  • 1.5 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt plus more to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • minced fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes.
  • Add the sweet potato wedges to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle them with the oil, salt, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to coat.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping them, but they can touch.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 10 minutes. Check the sweet potatoes for doneness. If not fork-tender and crispy on the edges, cook for another 2-5 minutes.
  • Season the sweet potatoes to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle them with minced fresh parsley or cilantro and serve hot.
  • Serve with gochujang aioli or ketchup.

Notes

Leftover air fried sweet potato wedges can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months. For reheating, use the air fryer at 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
