Fried Bananas Ingredients

  • 3 small Bananas Just ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

  • Slice bananas into even ½ inch slices. Try to slice straight on and not at an angle. Discard the end pieces.
  • Combine butter, cinnamon, and honey into medium skillet. Melt over medium to low heat and stir.
  • Once the butter is warm and beginning to bubble, add the bananas and cook for 3-5 minutes until caramelized. Flip the bananas and continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, reduce heat to low. Remove from pan and serve warm.

Notes

Bananas should be firm and mostly yellow with only a little green left. Not recommended to store cooked bananas.
