- 2 hearts romaine lettuce washed and dried
- 1 shallot sliced thinly
- 1 lemon zested and juiced
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ⅓ cup parmesan cheese grated
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Slice the lettuce into bite-sized strips and place in a large salad bowl.
Add shallots and lemon zest to salad bowl.
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Drizzle over salad and toss to combine.
Top with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Toss again until evenly combined.
