Ingredients
  

  • 2 hearts romaine lettuce washed and dried
  • 1 shallot sliced thinly
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ⅓ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Slice the lettuce into bite-sized strips and place in a large salad bowl.
  • Add shallots and lemon zest to salad bowl.
  • In a small bowl or jar, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Drizzle over salad and toss to combine.
  • Top with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Toss again until evenly combined.
